The day of the party

We would like you to make the most of the day and not to worry about the transport. Thus, there will be a bus taking you from the Castillo del Buen Amor to the church and then back from the church to the Castillo after the ceremony. The bus will go back to Salamanca in two turns, the first one around 1:30h and the second when the party is over.

Getting to Salamanca by plane

The closest airport is Madrid-Barajas, with daily connections from places such as Zurich, Munich, Milano and London. Below there is some information about public transport to Salamanca. Alternatively, you can also rent a car in terminals T1 and T4.

Direct bus from the airport

The fastest way to Salamanca from Madrid-Barajas is the direct bus link run by Avanzabus, starting either from terminal 1 (T1) or 4 (T4). In order to get to the bus stop, when arriving from T1, you should walk outside the terminal and then walk towards left. From T4, you will find the bus stop outside the downstairs exit. Please check the exemplary timetable. You can check the final times and book online from: https://www.avanzabus.com/ UPDATE: Unfortunately, due to COVID the frequency of these buses was reduced and they do not go directly to Salamanca, they stop in Madrid city center and take all in all around 3:30h to get to Salamanca. Please check if trains or car rentals are more convenient.
